Ustad Mashkoor Ali Khan Saahab, winner of Sangeet Natak Academy Award given to him by the President of India for Hindustani Classical music on October 4th, 2016 was travelling to Boston, right after. Here he shares his childhood stories, upbringing, training and inspirations that kept him on the path of classical music. He currently performs all over the world and devotes a large amount of his time training young voices. Here is a heart warming interview with our host Gauri Chandna.
